I agree with the other reviewers who have commented that it's great to see a dramatic production on the Fringe roster. Linder and Poirier do a wonderful job with these characters. In lesser hands, they could have easily been reduced to a "movie-of-the-week"-type cliches, but the performances held my interest throughout this very touching hour.

Burnt shoes, junk food and oil rigs-what do these have in common? A comedy-tragedy with existential concerns. Poirer and Linder are brilliant as the couple with secrets and emotional challenges. A great script by Cindy Lou Johnson and well directed by Miriam Monasch. Go See.

This show will touch you and wake and shake you up, days after you see it! Linder and Poirier work so well together, you forget how much work goes into doing this kind of an intense performance! Miriam Monasch has staged it to the stars' advantage, both visually and vocally. Watching this show reminded me that we are all so close to the line, and can go either way depending on the heart of the person nearest us.
Bravo and Brava to Linder and Poirier!

And it's so rarely produced. Thank you for bringing it to the stage!

Miriam Monasch's direction was tight, playful, and stayed on point. Stacey & Ed were definitely up to the challenge, and kept the flow going through the (many) emotional and comedic twists & turns. A full, appreciative crowd at the BLB seemed to enjoy the ride. Glad I got a seat to see this show!

I'm accustomed to getting amusing slapstick at the Fringe, but this performance was instead serious drama that would be worth watching even without the Festival element of the Fringe.

This was a powerful production that kept the audience moving through a range of emotions. The complex story lines offer a variety of ways to identify with the characters. The talented actors did an excellent job portraying them. I am really glad I saw this show!

Emotionally charged performances plus conceptually intriguing writing = a great theatre experience. I know what I need to do with that particular pair of shoes now also ... thanks!

This was way to start out seeing shows at the Fringe. If you see one show at the BLB check this one out.

i liked this play when i first read it, and it was great to see it come alive on stage. the fringe offers lots of crazy, silly shows, and this realistic (yet still sometimes crazy) drama was a nice change of pace. kudos!
