Helen Keller:
Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.

The Most Massive Woman Wins
Written by Madeleine George
Directed by Miriam Monasch
Minnesota Fringe Festival
August 2009

Four women walk into a liposuction clinic… insert witty punch line here. Sabine, Carly, Rennie and Cel have all made the choice to remove unwanted "parts" of their bodies. Their stories are unique, yet universal. Stories of desire, temptation, denial and surrender, intermingled with the rhymes and songs we all chanted as girls on the playground. A deeply comic and stinging social commentary on women's relationships with their bodies.
