THEATRE UNBOUND GETS THE LINGO
7th Annual 24-Hour Play Project and Benefit Gala
Hosted by Fringe Superstar Allegra Lingo

Theatre Unbound is thrilled to announce Allegra Lingo as special guest host of this year's event. Allegra's one-woman shows have consistently drawn sold-out houses at the Minnesota Fringe; her most recent, "I Hate Kenny G," combined her fearsome storytelling chops with some mean saxophone solos. "I can't wait to see what Allegra will choose to bestow upon us," says Unbound Artistic Director Stacey Poirier. "We're not sure, but we think we see a saxophone case in her back seat."

The 24-Hour Play Project and Benefit Gala continues Theatre Unbound's mission of providing opportunities to women artists. Playwrights, directors, and actors take on the challenge of six new short plays written, rehearsed, and propelled onto the stage in just 24 hours! The Gala includes silent and live auctions with "Dinner & A Show" packages, Pottery, Jewelry, Vikings cooler filled with beer, TU Tea Party, and complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
