About Theatre Unbound:

Since 1999, Theatre Unbound has been producing high quality, visionary theatre created by women - powerful stories that represent women in active pursuit of their goals and desires; female perspectives on universal struggles and achievements.

As a small company we are committed to affecting the theatre community on a grass roots level. By opening up opportunities for women actors, directors, playwrights and designers, we give them the power to affect the theatre community on a larger scale.

Over the last ten years, Theatre Unbound has grown into a successful, collaborative company of 11 artists producing six shows annually. The organization is fiscally and administratively healthy and stable. And they are ready to grow to the next level, with your help!

Job Description for Theatre Unbound's Board of Directors:

A more detailed job description is available upon request. Basic responsibilities include:

• To advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of Theatre Unbound so as to support the organization�s mission and needs.
• Attend meetings (June, July, September, October, December, February and March), annual planning retreat in May, one to two fundraising events and performances throughout the theatre season.
• Serve on one committee working with the company on specific projects.
• Grow Theatre Unbound�s community of audience, volunteers, donors and board members.
• Take a leadership role in giving and/or fundraising.
