Robin Morgan:
The "otherizing" of women is the oldest oppression known to our species, and it's the model, the template, for all other oppressions.

PRESS: REVIEW

A Fringe Festival Must-See
Debra O'Connor, St. Paul Pioneer Press

Four women sit in a plastic surgeon's office, waiting for "surgical cures" for the dissatifaction they - and their partners - have with their tummies, their tushes, their ta-tas. One has a signed blank check her husband left on her nightstand, clipped to a liposuction ad. The women, shaped like a sampling of people you'd find standing in line for corn dogs at the State Fair, find every pound of humor and pathos in this situation: Many - maybe most - women don't like their bodies. The end is shocking, but very cool.
